The Apocalist. Music for the End of the World.

Let’s play a game. A musical game.

Scenario; it’s the end of the world as we know it. Fire rains from the skies. Hordes of undead plague every town and city. Looting, riots in the streets, chaos. Luckily the government of [insert the name of your country here] saw this coming and prepared, they issue every person:

  •  1 flashlight
  •  1 month worth of dehydrated rations
  •  1 box of matches
  •  1 bottle of water, and
  •  1 Mp3 player with a 100 year battery life, but only enough space for 25 songs.

Don’t rush your list you have to listen to these 25 songs until you’re set upon by a gang of mutated hyper-intelligent scorpions the size of horses. It is the end of the world after all, though, so you don’t have all day to sort out music, zombies are already eating your co-workers.

Here’s the playlist i’ll be wandering the wastelands to (in no particular order):

Aesop Rock – Holy Smokes
You’ve Got to Hide Your love Away – The Beatles
Holland, 1945 – Neutral Milk Hotel
Killer Queen – Queen
